Who is your biggest role model?
I have had several inspiring role models and influences in my life over the years of my personal development. However, two women stand out in mind right now,
Iyanla Vanzant and Tina Turner. Their individual stories of triumph over extreme personal adversity and their unique paths to profound spiritual wellbeing, lit a flame of hope and inspiration in me during a dark segment in my young adult life.

What is your favorite quote
“Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you are right” ~ Henry Ford
Our thoughts, either positive or negative, keenly affect our outlook and perception of life. I realized 20 years ago, I had within me everything I needed to change my life for the better. Having constant awareness of
where I am focusing and what I am intending is paramount to my wellbeing.

What will you never compromise?
My relationship with my inner being and connection with divine energy. By paying attention to how I feel and my thoughts, and calibrating my energies (when needed) towards contentment, positive expectation, optimism, or appreciation I am rewarded with a complete sense of wellbeing and a knowing that “all is well”. This knowledge is so empowering, that I cannot compromise it.
Name your three core values?
#1. Integrity- having honest and trustworthy people in my life is so very important to me. So I strive to embody the traits I value most in others.
#2. Leading by example- is important to me because when you want to provide guidance, direction, or positively influence those around you, especially those who are experiencing feelings of lack or pessimism. You must show by example what caring for others looks like, What being accountable for your choices and actions is all about. How you can show up to work, school, or life situations and “ Act as If ” until you become the person you want to be, until you learn via education, trainng or just practice, until you believe in yourself. I want to show all who are asking, How having a kind word for someone else and a smile on your face can significantly improve your life.
#3. The value of community and “each one teach one” - I work at a high school, Life Learning Academy, We welcome teenage youth into our “extended family” which inspires the giving and receiving of support, developing responsibility and good judgment. The entire Life Learning family eats together every day. Students, staff, and guests share community, conversation, and a delicious hot meal prepared by students in our Culinary Academy. Students thrive in our inclusive environment. The ‘Each one, Teach one’ component is a philosophy that values everyone sharing responsibility for each other’s learning. All of us at the school, teachers and students alike are responsible for helping each other develop principles of honesty, integrity, and achievement. Students see teachers and staff as allies. They develop a commitment to caring for their friends by helping them make good choices.

What advice would you give to yourself at age 15?
You are worthy, you are loved, and you can be, do or have anything you desire...now listen! Meditate and quiet your mind for 15 mins daily, this will lead to greater clarity and personal growth. I know life is full of many questions and uncertainty, but this practice will help you find balance and alignment. Always look for the positive aspects in others, trust me these positive aspects do exist, but you can’t be lazy in your thinking. You got to focus. Appreciate what you already have in your life. No matter, if you think the grass is greener on the other side...because you will take yourself with you, wherever you go. So appreciate your grass right where you are and it will become lush, vibrant and abundant! Law of attraction is a real thing and it is the most powerul law in the universe! Imagine your thoughts and emotions as a magnet. When you think positive thoughts and feel good, you are like a magnet attracting positive things towards you. On the other hand, if you constantly think negatively and feel bad, you will attract negative things towards you. Always remember, Your mindset and attitude can significantly influence your experiences and the opportunities that come your way.
