With over three decades of experience as a licensed cosmetologist, June Armstead is the esteemed owner of Body, Soul, and Spirit Salon and Salon Know-How Education and Training Institute in San Francisco, CA. Her salon is renowned for promoting proper hair care techniques, particularly for professional and executive women with textured, natural, curly, coily, or multicultural hair seeking to achieve and maintain healthy hair. Salon Know-How Education and Training Institute provides educational events and training for salon owners, booth renters, industry professionals, and students, focusing on natural hair care, braiding, dread-locking, hair weaving, extension techniques, and salon/spa management skills.

As a pre-certified trichologist, June excels in diagnosing and non-medically treating hair loss and scalp disorders. She specializes in managing "hard-to-manage" hair, including African-American, textured, biracial, and multicultural hair types. Her commitment to holistic hair health has made her a sought-after expert, featured in Essence Magazine and various publications and radio shows.

Beyond her salon, June is the founder of Braidz N' Thangz, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young women through skill development in hair care and styling. She also mentors aspiring cosmetologists through the Salon Know-How Education and Training Institute.
